Beware if thinking of taking the family to Wet n Wild with little ones, its not all its cracked up to be ....
Kids aged 3-13 years pay the same price, however if your 3-4 year old is under 1 metre tall, they are NOT allowed on any slides other than the kiddies ones in the kiddie pool, which of course they must go on alone as parents are too big ... (Some kids are just shorter than others)
Secondly once your little one reaches 1 metre high, and can go on the slides, they MUST go alone, not sitting with a parent as it use to be. A huge slide like that is quite scarey to a lil tacker...
Tell me - Why is it safer for a little one to ride alone, rather than in the secure arms of its parent ??
We took our little girl home, ruined the whole day for us and our family that was visting, she cried the whole way around the park as she couldnt go on anything and was sick of watching everyone else. She was less than an inch under 1 metre. You still pay the same fees to get in, but the park is not really designed or much fun for kids old enough to know whats going on yet too "short" to be a part of it ...
And the pools are NOT heated !!! Especially the kiddies pool - it was freezing !!
Wet n WIld were nice enough to give me a refund so we could leave, but am told it is not normal practice !!!
