Can anyone suggest a good video store in the southern Gold Coast area??? One with nice staff and good customer service???
I have been a member of Video Ezy Varsity Lakes for 9 years now and it's been fine up until about a year ago (they must have either changed owners or employed REALLY slack staff).
BEWARE when returning videos.
We rarely hire DVD's (about once every month if that) and we DO NOT return items late. However in the last year we have now received 2 late fees for DVD's that were never late. I even have witnesses who have been in the car with me when I have returned the DVD's.
Once the DVD was returned through the drop-in shute (as the shop was not open yet at 8am) and once in their actual return shute inside the store. It obviously takes the staff way too long to process these DVD's back into the computer if they are coming up as overdue.
The solution - until I find another Viedo store, each time I return a DVD I am only handing it to a staff member directly and also getting them to sign a piece of paper with their name so I have record of who I returned the DVD to - if they want to act like children then they will be treated like children.
It really shouldn't have to be such a pain in the butt everytime you want to hire a simple DVD should it??
